    utilize as claúsulas padrão então, enquanto o Rodrigo Almeida não vem aqui esclarecer esse dilema:

    RMAN> delete backup completed before ‘sysdate -8’;

    allocated channel: ORA_DISK_1
    channel ORA_DISK_1: sid=1055 devtype=DISK
    allocated channel: ORA_DISK_2
